Over the last couple of years, Llangynidr Agricultural Show Society has been pleased to work with a major charity each year, raising much-needed funds for the charity, both through specific activities at the show and through direct donations from show funds where appropriate. For 2018, we are extremely proud to be working with Wales Air Ambulance.
![]() 2018 will see the 75th, yes really 75th, annual Llangynidr Garden & Craft Show. Many congratulations to the organising team for this year and for previous years on reaching this amazing milestone. The schedule of classes has now been published, so it is time to start thinking about which classes you want to enter. Please support the garden and craft show by viewing the exhibits as part of your Llangynidr Show day out on 26th August. All the details you need, including the schedule, can be found here. Good luck with your entries.

Please see the Competitive Classes page and individual sub-pages for each section Well done to all the winners and thanks to all the competitors for helping to make 2017 such an excellent show The preparations for this year's show started pretty much straight after getting our breath back from 2016's show.
Competitive classes details are being finalised so we can make the competitive schedule available, e.g. at the Royal Welsh Spring Fair. Main Ring entertainments are booked and timings being sorted out. Demonstration tent participants and many other attractions are getting booked up now. Trade Stand bookings and Farmers' Market bookings are going well - get in contact soon if you want to book. This year we are selling Grand Draw tickets at £1 a ticket, both in advance and at the show itself - come along to any of our monthly Farmers' Markets to buy tickets anytime from this Sunday onwards - cash prizes confirmed and many more prizes to be added, we'd love to receive your donations of prizes. We are very pleased to be working with Bwlch & Crickhowell Young Farmers Club this year, who are planning a speed shearing competition to run on the showground after the main show finishes in the afternoon, and we hope this will be the start of even more collaboration between the show society and the YFC, who have always supported the show, for example with their refreshments tent last year. Please have a browse around the website; we are gradually filling it up with all the information you need to plan for your great day out with us on 27 August 2017, so keep coming back to learn more as plans get confirmed. This year's show was again a great success - read our report and see lots of photos of the day
2016 Show Report and Photos Most of the results for the competitive classes are now in and published here: 2016 Results
There are still some more results to come, for example in the Horse Section, which will be posted to the same page as soon as possible. We will also get some photos on the website when we can. Thank you to all who supported, exhibited at or attended the show - we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did on the organising team and we are looking forward to seeing you again, same time next year. Last minute preparations for the show are going well, and things are starting to get really busy.
The competitive schedule has been available for a few weeks now and we are seeing lots of entries coming in - pick up a copy from any of the places listed here (or just view the schedule online on this same page). With expanded classes in the livestock this year, we're looking forward to some great competition. The final adjustments are being made to the main ring and demonstration area schedules - with such a packed programme of entertainments it needs a little last minute fine tuning. Plenty of great raffle prizes to be won on the day. Thank you as always to all our supporters - vice presidents, sponsors, judges, financial donors, committee members, helpers, farmers' market and other traders, entertainers and everyone else - it is lining up to be a great show.
