We've had a fabulous day. If you didn't make it then you missed a treat. Get Sunday August 26th 2012 in your diary NOW.
Off to bed, marquees and showground to dismantle tomorrow!! If you have the energy, come and give us a hand...WE NEED IT.
The team setting out the Showground have experienced two days of some extremely heavy rain but have worked through it. Today (Saturday) is the last day and all hands will be 'on deck' to put the finishing touches together.
The sun is out and the sky is (currently) blue...and I am hoping that Wales' own weatherman Derek Brockway will ensure we have a dry day tomorrow.
See you there!
There has been a great deal of hard work going on over the past few days. Hedges have been cut, competition rings staked out and today the Farmers' Market, Shearing and Pet Show marquees have all gone up. Thanks to all the volunteers for their hard work.
Don't worry, I'm talking about some great main ring entertainment that we have lined up NOT the dimise of the Show!
Mid Wales Axe Racing Club,
The Welsh Axemen will be demonstrating a range of skills during two performances on Sunday afternoon. Highlights will include Man vs. Machine (chainsaw races against a two man crosscut saw) and a Springboard Tree Climb (ascending a tree and then balancing on a board whilst cutting a log with an axe??!!)
