All the information you need on this year's horticultural, floral, craft, cookery and children's classes is now available on the website's Garden and Craft Show page
Spring is in the air and although many of the committee are busy lambing, plans for this year's show are moving ahead. We'll be adding all the information you need yover the coming weeks and months
Yesterday was incredible! Thank you to everyone who supported the event - the committee have all been working like demons throughout the year, but on the day we couldn't have pulled it off without all of the other volunteers....and as for those of you that came through the gate 'Thanks'.
If you have any comments for us - things we did well, things we could have done better(!) or things that we might want to include next year, then please do get in touch. Either add a comment to this blog or go to the Contact us page and leave a message. We hope to add a write up and show photos to the site soon. After many requests, Class 15a Potential Sport Horse - Yearling Colt, Filly or Gelding, has been added to the In Hand horse classes. A (PDF) flyer listing all of the horse classes is available to download on the horse section of the site.
We have a full programme of displays and demonstrations in the main ring, farmers' market marquee (cookery and floral art) and the shearing tent. Check out our entertainment page for times
Start thinking about which classes you'll be entering in this year's event. It is the Garden Society's 70th Show so lets make sure there are record entries! Click on the Garden Show tab to read the programme online.
We will soon have all the information you need about our 2013 Show - agricultural classes and judges, exhibition stands (including how to book yours in) and entertainment. Come back soon or follow us in Twitter @LlangynidrShow to get you updates direct.
With the sun shinning from early morning we couldn't have asked for a better start yesterday...and it just got better! The crowds came and we had to use our overflow car park (thanks to the lads from Crickhowell Rugby Club for doing such a great job); entertainment in the main ring kept everyone enthralled and the agricultural classes were keenly contested - entries were up on last year. We hope to see you all again next year...planning starts next week!
