If you would like a paper copy of the Competition Schedule (and Entry Form in the middle pages), we will be placing these in multiple locations around the local area where many of our competitors visit.

The full 2024 competitive schedule is available below for reference, including livestock rules and general conditions of entry. Where some information was not available at the time of the schedule going to print, it will be added to the competitive class information in the section pages to the left. Paper copies of the schedule will be available at the usual locations - local markets, shops, pubs, agricultural merchants etc - look out for the pink cover. We have a pre-entry option for sheep - please see the middle pages of the schedule for the form.

Privacy of competitors' information:
When you enter a class in the Llangynidr Agricultural Show (“The Show”) you give us some personal information. This usually includes your name and address, phone and email contact details, as well as details of the classes entered and information about your animals related to those classes. Any cheque you give us includes your bank details, although we do not record that information but pay the cheque straight into the Society’s bank account. The Show Society must keep all such information safe and secure and may use it only for the legitimate interests and activities of the Society. Those interests and activities include but are not limited to: the organisation and operation of The Show and communications about it; the establishment and maintenance of appropriate records, including as to entries and payments received and cups and other prizes won; promotional activities including the publication of the names and home locations (town or village but not detailed addresses or other contact details) of winners on the Llangynidr Agricultural Show website; the taking of photographs of people (including children) and exhibits both general and specific and use of such photographs (which may be edited or altered) in promotional activities about The Show including on its website. Many photographs will be of groups of people without any caption or other means of identifying individuals.
Your information is maintained and used only by Llangynidr Agricultural Show Society Committee Members and others assisting in the organisation and running of The Show, except where required for legal purposes (for example, licensing laws), for which the necessary information must be passed by the Show Society to relevant authorities. The information we hold is actively maintained as long as the Show Society needs it to enable the efficient organisation of The Show including for the collection of cups and prizes at the end of the relevant year, and for other relevant activities of the Society. Names of winners may remain on the Show website for several years. Information provided on entry forms is not automatically deleted and may be used to verify whether, for example, a person had entered a particular class in a previous year. Information may therefore remain in the Show Society’s control until the Society ceases to exist or until you ask for any information about you to be deleted. We do not share your information with any other organisation. You may ask to see what information we hold about you, to amend the information or to have it deleted. You can talk to any member of the Show Society Committee about this or contact us via the Show website. If you are unhappy about the way we store or use your personal data and you cannot resolve the issue with the Show Society, you can apply for help to the office of the Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk).
